One of the most handy functions in Google Sheets is the QUERY function. Unfortunately, Google Sheets doesn’t have a feature for naming columns. (After all, it’s a spreadsheet, not a database, right?) Nevertheless, you’ll often want to use the first row in your spreadsheet as the “labels” or “column names” for your columns.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could query the data in a Google Sheet using the labels you’ve applied to the columns, i.e. the values of the cells in the first row?
